No. Our SmartyPants Organic Formulas are not vegan. While no animals are used in the products, the vitamin D3 we include is sourced from wool shorn from sheep. So, our Organics products are not vegan, but they are certified-vegetarian through the American Vegetarian Association.

Yes (and no). Just like our other supplements our multifunctional and organic gummy formulas each include a full multivitamin, more than 15 premium nutrients and a high-quality source of omega-3 essential fatty acids.

The main difference with our Organic supplements is where we source those omega-3s from. Instead of using fish oil, like in our core line formulas, we source the omega-3 ALA in our Organic gummies from flaxseed oil.

No. At this time, our SmartyPants Organics supplements are not Kosher or Halal.

Although algal oil is a good source of omega-3 DHA fatty acid, it doesn’t currently exist in an organic form.

In order to make our Organic products certified-vegetarian and certified-organic, we use organic flaxseed oil as our source for omega-3 ALA.

Flaxseed oil provides good omega-3 in the form of α-Linolenic acid. We use it in our Organic products because it’s certified-organic and vegetarian.
