Dr. Kristin Struble has been a practicing pediatrician in Phoenix, Arizona since 2001. She earned her undergraduate and her medical graduate degrees from the University of Arizona. Her undergraduate degree in nutrition science was a catalyst for obtaining additional dietary education, including a nutrition internship at University of California San Diego. A passion for nutrition in medical practice drives her pursuit for additional education and an ongoing interest in the field. To better help children and parents in her pediatric practice who frequently have gastrointestinal questions, Dr. Struble authored and published a humorous children's book in 2014 titled "How to be a Poop" Detective". This book fulfilled a dream to she had to explain, in common terms to parents and kids, how your diet impacts overall gut health. Her compelling and consistent message to families has always been that promoting gut health is essential from the beginning of life and a healthy diet is a critical component to effective preventive medicine.
Dr. Struble has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a "Top Doc" for the past 10 years in a row, has been consistently recognized by the "Best Doctors of America" and was a nominee for a prestigious "Healthcare Hero" award from Phoenix Business Journal in 2018. Dr. Struble has been a guest on local news stations and several national podcasts discussing her book and gut health and has authored many related articles.
