Are your Organic products certified organic? Who are they verified through?
Yes! All our Organic products are Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI), a leader in organic certification services. Look for the USDA Organic Seal on our bottles!

What’s the source of Omega-3 for your Organic products? Why was this chosen?
In order to make our Organic products vegetarian and certified-organic, we use organic flaxseed oil as our source for omega-3.

Why do you use flaxseed oil instead of fish oil in your Organic products?
Flaxseed oil provides good omega-3 in the form of α-Linolenic acid. We use it in our Organic products because it’s certified-organic and vegetarian.

Why don’t you use algal oil in your Organic products?
Although algal oil is a good source of omega-3 DHA fatty acid, it doesn’t currently exist in an organic form. -
Are your Organic products vegan? If no, why not?
No. Our SmartyPants Organics products are not vegan. While no animals are used in the products, the vitamin D3 we include is sourced from wool shorn from sheep. So, our Organics products are not vegan, but they are certified-vegetarian through the American Vegetarian Association.
We understand that many people avoid consuming animal products for religious or dietary reasons, so we're hard at work creating new products to help meet different people’s needs. Why are your Organic products so expensive?
Like all SmartyPants products, we only use premium ingredients in our vitamin supplements. Sourcing premium ingredients that are also organic, vegetarian, and Non-GMO can cost more.
