Our formulas for kids are designed for children over the age of 4. We also have formulas for toddlers (ages 2-3) and teens (ages 13+). 

There are other factors that may affect these recommendations, like weight and height, which is why we always recommend checking with a trusted medical professional if you have questions or concerns about giving your child a new supplement or which formula is appropriate.

Can this product be paired with other SmartyPants Kids products?

Yes, our Kids Multi & Fiber can be taken with other SmartyPants Kids products, like our multivitamins, probiotics, Kids Fiber & Veggies, and/or Kids Triple Action Immunity, as needed. Always follow the specific dosage instructions on each bottle.

If you’re pairing Kids Multi & Fiber with Kids Fiber & Veggies, please follow directions on the bottle to ensure your child isn’t getting more fiber than recommended.

Are there specific instructions for adding a fiber supplement to my child’s routine?

Yes, we suggest easing in so that their body can adjust to the fiber. We recommend kids 4+ take 1 gummy daily for the first week and 3 gummies daily thereafter.

Do SmartyPants gummies contain gelatin? Which formulas are vegetarian?

Our formulas that include omega-3 DHA & EPA from fish oil and algal oil do contain gelatin (sourced from bovine). 

Our vegetarian (and gelatin-free!) formulas are our Organic, Sugar Free and Multi (without Omegas) product lines, as well as our companion formulas, such as our Probiotics, Kids Fiber & Veggies, and Kids Triple Action Immunity products.
